Welcome to Roomsy. We are a small group of friends providing short-term rental accommodation for travelers, students, and families visiting Kuala Lumpur.
By using our website https://myroomsy.com (“Site”) and booking our accommodation, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Please read this document carefully.
Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Prices are clearly listed on the Site and may vary based on dates and room type. Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified. We accept payments via Stripe by default. Other payment methods (e.g. bank transfer) will only be accepted upon prior request and written confirmation from both parties. The booking is not confirmed until payment is successfully processed and you receive a booking confirmation email.
2. Security Deposit
A security deposit of RM300 is required and must be paid before check-in. Failure to pay the required deposit will give the host the right to reject the stay and cancel the booking. The deposit is fully refundable after check-out, provided there is no damage to the property and no breach of the house rules. The method and timeline of the deposit refund will be communicated at the time of check-in.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation terms will be stated at the time of booking. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed according to our cancellation policy. No-shows or early departures are generally non-refundable. Certain promotional or discounted bookings may be non-refundable; this will be clearly stated.
4. House Rules
Guests must respect the property, neighbors, and local regulations. No illegal activities are allowed on the premises. Smoking, parties, or pets are not allowed unless explicitly stated otherwise in the property listing. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Costs for repair or replacement will be deducted from the security deposit or charged separately if the damage exceeds the deposit amount. The host reserves the right to request early check-out without refund in case of severe violation of house rules.
5. Liability
While we do our best to ensure your stay is safe and comfortable, Roomsy is not liable for any accidents, injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during your stay. Use of the property is at your own risk.
